Sea Whispers

The sigh of your breath deep
And the flutter of your languid lash
Whisper endless secrets--
Of ancient tales forgotten,
Of secrets blooming in the dark
Forever awaiting the dawn

The stars that wink down upon your shores
Hear not the subtle murmurs of your soul
And the silence of your slow voice
Promises answers to questions unasked
And the depths of your fluid womb
Glide in serenity past flutters of doubt

For as eternal time weaves eternal tales
And light's infinite arrays pale;
While lesser silences break to lesser sounds
Your Great Silence holds its own

WAAOW!!!- I loved the last two lines!! It's so...magical!(ok i'm not being articultae enough here)I mean they hold so much..you know..it's like a mystery waiting to be solved-but one that can never truly be solved.The whole womb image gave the poem a...um..it's like a mother protects her child in her womb.nurtures it.The sea nurtures her secrets.protects it.I loved it!I guess the old John Keats would have been transported "on the viewless wings of poesie" himself if he ever had the good fortune of reading your work. Poor soul...you could dedicate your first collection to him to make up though.Keep writing!:D
